| Program Description: | The winter shelter typically operates 24 hrs/day, 7 days/week from mid-November to mid-March (Shelter opens on Wednesday, November 25, 2009 at 8:00 am but is taking pre-intakes on Monday November 23 from 8-12 pm, and Tuesday November 24 from 8-12 pm; go to site location to sign-up) every year and offers beds, meals, showers, and access to comprehensive services provided by Alpha Project and other partners including physical and mental health services, case planning, access to housing, employment services, and other referrals. The shelter is available to men and women agse 18 and older. Priority is given to seniors and individuals with disabilities. |
